Welcome to Incoming, from SFHotelstories. Your concierge weekly guide to the pulse of what's happening in San Francisco.

EVENTS

The Noise Pop Festival

This February 19th through March 1st, several venues across San Francisco will host dozens of indie pop music groups.  The Festival is a way to explore new artists, venues and nightlife the old-fashioned way… by going from one show to the next.  Who knows, you stumble upon the next pop sensation before they become famous.

COMEDY

Cobbs Comedy Club

On February 27th and 28th, join Cobb's welcoming " An Evening with Kevin Smith."  I know him to be a glib filmmaker when he is on talk shows, but a comedian?   I guess you'll just have to find out how funny he is.

MUSIC

The Independent

Bob Schneider, the Austin, Texas-based singer-songwriter graces the stage at San Francisco's best little music venue that can, on February 28th.  His music spans genres, blending elements of folk, rock, rap, funk, bluegrass, reggae and country with the more traditional singer/songwriter aesthetic. In short, FRUNK.

PERFORMANCE

San Francisco Ballet

The world-famous San Francisco Ballet steps into the future with The Blake Works on February 27th through March 1st.  This high-octane, rhythmically charged, and visually striking, The Blake Works redefines what ballet can be.

ART

City Hall

That's right, I said city hall.

More specifically, city hall's art gallery.

Now on display through June 18th on the Ground Floor and North Light Court, comes Moving San Francisco  featuring historic photographs taken between 1903 and 2025, drawing attention to the city’s iconic public transportation system.
