Welcome to Incoming, from SFHotelstories. Your concierge weekly guide to the pulse of what's happening in San Francisco
The Holidays
The Stockton Street Winter Walk
Every Holiday season in the Union Square district of San Francisco, two blocks of Stockton Street are closed to vehicular traffic. In its place is a winter wonderland of shops, crafts, and activities for children of all ages.

Art
The de Young Museum
For over 100 years, the de Younge Museum has been the premier destination for major art and cultural exhibitions. Their current exhibition is on the works of Tamara de Lempicka, whose art helped influence the Art Deco Movement. The exhibition runs through February 9th, 2025.
Comedy
The Masonic Auditorium
For one night only, December 28th. World famous, edgy comedian Sarah Silverman, performs on the Masonic Auditorium stage.
Performance
The Audium
This under-appreciated performance space utilizes hundreds of speakers in a mocked-up, theater-in-the-round experience. A conductor, for lack of a better term, merges a symphony of sounds into an auditory display. Some are artificially produced, some are recordings of real places, but integrated together.
The Audium's performances are ongoing.
Music
The Hotel Utah
Any band that is successful today, got their start at the hotel Utah.
Open Mic night at the Hotel Utah has welcomed everyone from the Osmond Family to Robin Williams. Check out the Open Mic night every Monday. Who knows, you might see the next Green Day or Metallica.
